Heated Seat Switch - With Seat Integrated Restraints (SIR): Installation

  1. Install the heated seat switch into the trim panel and connect the heated seat switch electrical connector.
    • Verify the switch locking tabs are securely seated.

  2. CAUTION: Bend the side shield slightly to make sure the shield is not scratched by the recliner lever.
  3. Position the side trim cover and install the 3 trim cover screws.
    • The seat backrest pivot bolt shaft must be inserted into the cover standoff.

  4. Push the rearward lower corner of the side shield to engage the metal retaining clip.
  5. Position the lumbar adjuster control and install the 2 mounting screws. Install the adjuster knob.

  6. Position the seat back recliner lever cover and install the screw.

  7. Install the front seat. For additional information, refer to SEAT - FRONT, WITH SEAT INTEGRATED RESTRAINTS (SIR) .
