Disassembly and Assembly

  1. Remove the seat cushion. For additional information, refer to SEAT CUSHION - FRONT, BUCKET AND 40 PERCENT .
  2. Remove the armrest. For additional information, refer to SEAT ARMREST - BUCKET, WITHOUT SEAT INTEGRATED RESTRAINTS (SIR) .
  3. Remove the seat backrest latch. For additional information, refer to SEAT LATCH - BUCKET AND 40 PERCENT .
    4. CAUTION: Use care when separating the seat backrest trim cover from the hook and loop strip, or the hook and loop strip can be torn from the seat backrest foam.
  4. Position the upholstery and release the hook and loop strip.
  5. Remove the seat backrest cover.
  6. Remove the seat cushion foam pad from the frame.
  7. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
