Frame and Body Mounting

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Ford Pickup, 2006 Ford F550 Super Duty, 2006 Ford F450 Super Duty, and 2006 Ford Cab & Chassis. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The frame is made up of steel channel 2-piece rails and riveted crossmembers, except for the transmission support crossmember which is bolted. The vehicle body sits on rubber body supports. There are lower and upper body supports to keep the vehicle body from sitting directly on the frame.
