Pinpoint Test C: No Power In Run

- C1 CHECK THE VOLTAGE SUPPLY TO THE IGNITION SWITCH
- Key in OFF position.
- Disconnect: Ignition Switch
- Measure the voltage between ignition switch C250, harness side, and ground as follows:TERMINALS VOLTAGE CHART
Ignition Switch C250 Circuit C250-7 37 (YE) C250-12 37 (YE) C250-2 325 (DB/OG) C250-9 1050 (LG/VT) - Are the voltages greater than 10 volts?
Yes : GO to C2.
No : Verify that CJB fuse 103 (30A) is OK. If OK, REPAIR the circuit 1050 (LG/VT) for an open.
Verify that CJB fuse 116 (30A) is OK. If OK, REPAIR the circuit 325 (DB/OG) for an open.
Verify that CJB fuse 110 (30A) is OK. If OK, REPAIR the circuit 37 (YE) for an open.
TEST the system for normal operation.
- C2 CHECK THE IGNITION SWITCH
- Carry out the Ignition Switch Component Test. Refer to appropriate COMPONENT TESTING .
- Does the ignition switch test OK?
Yes : GO to C3.
No : INSTALL a new ignition switch. REFER to IGNITION SWITCH . TEST the system for normal operation.
- C3 CHECK THE VOLTAGE SUPPLY TO THE CENTRAL JUNCTION BOX (CJB)
- Connect: Ignition Switch C250.
- Disconnect: CJB C270c.
- Key in ON position.
- Measure the voltage between CJB C270c, harness side, and ground as follows:TERMINALS VOLTAGE CHART
CJB C270c Circuit C270c-4 16 (RD/LG) C270c-5 687 (GY/YE) C270c-6 964 (DB/LG) C270c-1 1040 (RD/BK) - Are the voltages greater than 10 volts?
Yes : REPAIR or INSTALL a new CJB. TEST the system for normal operation.
No : REPAIR the circuit(s) in question for an open. TEST the system for normal operation.
