Removal and Installation

All vehicles

If equipped, remove the overhead console.
- Release the locking tabs while pulling down.
Remove the left and right screws and visors.
- If equipped, disconnect the electrical connector.

Position the left and right front door opening weatherstrips down from the headliner.

Remove the left and right A-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to A-PILLAR TRIM PANEL in this section.

NOTE: SuperCab shown, regular cab similar.

Remove the courtesy lamp lens, then remove the screws.

SuperCab vehicles

Remove the left and right rear door striker covers at the roof trim panel.

If equipped, remove the safety belt shoulder height adjuster cover pin-type retainers.

If equipped, remove the safety belt shoulder height adjusters.
1. Position the safety belt shoulder height adjuster cover down.
2. Remove the bolt.
3. Remove the safety belt shoulder height adjuster.

Remove the 2 headliner rear pin-type retainers.

All vehicles

Remove both of the left and right safety belt guides.
1. Position the shoulder safety belt guide cover up.
2. Remove the shoulder safety belt guide nut.
  - To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
3. Remove the shoulder safety belt guide.

Remove the left and right coat hooks.

Remove the assist handle.
1. Remove the covers and bolts.
2. Remove the assist handle.

Position aside the B-pillar trim panels.

Remove the 2 headliner front pin-type retainers.

Remove the headliner.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
