Window Glass - Rear: Removal

- Remove the rear trim panels. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
- Remove the child safety seat tether anchors. For additional information, refer to SAFETY BELT SYSTEM .

Vehicles with power sliding window
NOTE: The power sliding window should be partially open to carry out this procedure.NOTE: Left side shown, right side similar.NOTE: The right side must have the trough cover removed prior to carrying out this step. - Remove the left transition block and rubber stop from the sliding window trough.
- Remove the left transition block from the cable end.
- Disconnect the swag from the power sliding window.
- Pull the left cable end out of the sliding window trough.
- Repeat Steps 4 through 7 for the right side.
- From inside the vehicle, pull down on the back window glass weatherstrip. Push back the window glass and back window glass weatherstrip from the back window glass opening.
- Remove the weatherstrip from the rear window.

Removal of the rear window glass requires an assistant to hold the rear window glass as it is pushed out.
