Piston Diameter

- Measure the piston diameter 90 degrees from the piston pin and 42 mm (1.65 in) down from the top of the piston at the point indicated. Refer to ENGINE - 5.4L (3V) -- F250-F550 SUPER DUTY PICKUPS

or ENGINE - 6.8L (3V) -- F250-F550 SUPER DUTY PICKUPS
for appropriate procedure.
- If out of specification, install new components as necessary. Refer to ENGINE - 5.4L (3V) -- F250-F550 SUPER DUTY PICKUPS , ENGINE - 6.0L DIESEL -- F250-F550 SUPER DUTY PICKUPS or ENGINE - 6.8L (3V) -- F250-F550 SUPER DUTY PICKUPS for appropriate procedure.
