F350 Super Duty

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2000 Ford Pickup, 2000 Ford Econoline, and 2000 Ford Contour. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: LPG fuel system is designed to vent excess fuel vapor pressure in high ambient temperatures. The pressure relief valve will vent fuel and should automatically reset itself.

Disconnect Liquid Propane Gas (LPG) tank relay(s). Set ALT/GAS switch to ALT and run engine until the ALT lamp goes out. If vehicle is equipped with dual LPG tanks, run engine with ALT/GAS switch in both ALT fuel positions. Repeat this procedure to ensure all LPG is removed from either tank fuel lines. To pressurize the fuel system, reinstall the LPG tank relay(s), set ALT/GAS switch to run on LPG and cycle the ignition switch to ON position.
