Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the parking brake shoes. For additional information, refer to PARKING BRAKE & ACTUATION .
  2. Release the parking brake cable from the LH parking brake assembly.

  3. Rotate the parking brake cable 90 degrees to release it from the parking brake actuating lever.

  4. Remove the 4 brake caliper support bracket nuts.
    • To install, tighten to 137 Nm (101 lb-ft).
  5. Remove the brake caliper support bracket and the brake disc shield assembly.
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
