Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the brake pads. For additional information, refer to BRAKE PADS .
  2. Remove the 2 brake caliper anchor plate bolts and the brake caliper anchor plate.
    • To install (F-250, F-350 single rear wheel caliper), tighten to 275 Nm (203 lb-ft).
    • To install (F-350 dual rear wheel caliper), tighten to 275 Nm (203 lb-ft).
    • To install (F-450, F-550 dual rear wheel caliper), tighten to 400 Nm (295 lb-ft).
  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
