Removal and Installation

All vehicles

Apply the parking brake.
Vehicles with manual transmission
If equipped with a manual transmission, place the selector lever in fourth gear.
Vehicles with automatic transmission
If equipped with an automatic transmission, place the selector lever in NEUTRAL.
All vehicles
Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Remove the ashtray finish panel.

Remove the two screws and the ashtray assembly.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Release the locking tabs and remove the heated seat switch.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
