Removal and Installation

- Remove the air cleaner assembly. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
- Remove the 2 bolts and position the windshield washer pump and reservoir aside.
- To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Disconnect the windshield washer hose and remove the windshield washer pump and reservoir.
- Remove the windshield washer pump from the reservoir.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
WARNING:
Windshield washer solution contains methanol, which is poisonous and flammable. Observe all cautions and warnings indicated on label of washer solution container. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
NOTE:
Windshield washer fluid should be collected in a container after the windshield washer hose is disconnected.
CAUTION:
Do not operate the windshield washer pump prior to filling the windshield reservoir.
