Pinpoint Test A: DTC B2103 - No Passive Anti-Theft System (Pats) Antenna Detected

  1. A1 INSPECT THE PATS TRANSCEIVER FOR CORRECT INSTALLATION OR PHYSICAL DAMAGE 
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Verify the PATS transceiver is correctly installed. Refer to PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) TRANSCEIVER .
    • Key in ON position.
    • Clear the continuous DTCs.
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Key in ON position.
    • Enter the following diagnostic mode on the diagnostic tool: Retrieve the PCM DTCs.
    • Is DTC B2103 retrieved? 

    Yes  : INSTALL a new PATS transceiver. REFER to PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) TRANSCEIVER . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the PCM self-test.

    No  : The system is OK.
