Removal & Installation (3.0L)

- Remove the accessory drive belt. Remove the lower bolt. See Fig 1. Disconnect the hose and allow to drain. See Fig 2. Disconnect the electrical connector. See Fig 3. Remove the bolt and the high pressure line bracket. See Fig 4. Disconnect the high pressure line. See Fig 5.
- Remove the two upper bolts and the cooling fan pump. See Fig 6. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Using the special tool, install a new "O" ring on the hydraulic cooling fan pressure hose fitting. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Fill and bleed hydraulic system.
