Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the roof opening panel glass. For additional information, refer to ROOF OPENING PANEL GLASS .
  2. Unsnap front of trough assembly from the mechanism.
  3. Rotate the trough arms upward to allow shield to be pulled forward in front of the trough.
  4. Pull the roof opening panel shield forward so the rear of the shield passed below and in front of the trough.
  5. Remove the roof opening panel shield.
    • Lift the forward edge slightly.
    • Release the front and rear tabs from the roof opening panel frame tracks.
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
