Removal and Installation

- Remove the rear door trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
- Disconnect the exterior rear door handle actuating rod.
- Remove the 3 rear door latch screws.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
- Disconnect the rear door latch electrical connector.
- Disconnect the rear door actuating cable.
- Remove the rear door latch.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Lubricate the rear door latch after installation.
