Normal Operation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Lincoln LS. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The heated wiper park relay is supplied voltage by the AJB fuse 13 (30A) through circuits 30-HB8 (RD/OG) and 30-HB8A (RD/OG). When the ambient temperature falls below 3°C (38°F), the DATC module grounds circuit 91S-HB7 (BN/RD), closing the heated wiper park relay. This allows voltage to flow through circuit 30S-HB42 (RD/YE) to the heated wiper park grids in the windshield.
