Normal Operation

When the ignition switch is in the RUN position and the audio unit is turned on, communication is possible between the diagnostic tool and the audio unit through the standard corporate protocol (SCP) communications network. The audio unit receives power at all times through circuit 29-MD15 (OG/BK), and power in RUN/ACC through circuit 75-MD15. Ground for the audio unit is provided through circuit 31-MD15 (BK/GN) (DM100i) or 31-MD15A (BK/GN) (CDX6).
