Test V: Left Side Air Bag Circuit Resistance High (DTC B1994): Description

Restraints Control Module (RCM) checks left side air bag module circuit for high resistance by monitoring connector C310B, terminals No. 2 (Red/Green wire) and No. 3 (Black/Green wire). If RCM detects resistance greater than 3.6 ohms, it will store Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1994 in memory and flash Code 36 on AIR BAG warning light.
