Test R: Left Side Air Bag Circuit Short To Ground (DTC B1993): Description

Restraints Control Module (RCM) monitors resistance to ground at connector C310B, terminals No. 2 (Red/Green wire) and No. 3 (Black/Green wire). If RCM detects resistance to ground less than 10 k/ohms at either terminal, it will store Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1993 in memory and flash Code 36 on AIR BAG warning light.
