Test O: Right Side Crash Sensor Internal Fault (DTC B2445): Description

Right side crash sensor monitors severity of crash event. If crash is severe enough, sensor will signal RCM to deploy right side air bag module. RCM monitors right side crash sensor circuit loop for signal that is out of range. If RCM detects signal that is out of range, it will store Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B2445 in memory and flash Code 49 on AIR BAG warning light.
