NOTE:
Diagnostic tests or repairs are not to be performed on side air bag system and/or seat belt pretensioner system with front seats installed in vehicle. Prior to diagnosis or repair of side air bag and/or pretensioner systems, remove front seats and ensure appropriate air bag simulators are installed at side air bag and pretensioner connectors. See FRONT SEAT
under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
Unless otherwise specified, New Generation STAR (NGS) tester (418-F052), Worldwide Diagnostic System (WDS) tester (418- F024), or equivalent tester will be referred to as scan tool.
