Normal Operation

Vehicle speed information is received by the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module from each of the 4 wheel speed sensors. The vehicle speed information is then sent to the instrument cluster by the ABS module over the communication network. Instrument cluster DTC U1041 is logged if the instrument cluster fails to receive the vehicle speed data from the ABS module.
