Removal & Installation (3.0L)

Disconnect negative battery cable. Knock sensors are located in valley of engine, under intake manifold. Remove upper and lower intake manifold. See INTAKE MANIFOLD under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS. Disconnect Knock Sensor (KS) connector. Remove bolt and knock sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
