Removal & Installation (3.0L)

To access right side cylinder bank ignition coils, remove upper intake manifold. See INTAKE MANIFOLD  under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS. Disconnect ignition coils harness connector. Remove bolts and remove ignition coils. Upon installation, apply silicone brake caliper grease and dielectric compound to inside of ignition coil boots. Verify ignition coils are seated and boots are not damaged. If boots are damaged, install a new ignition coil. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
