Removal & Installation (3.9L)

Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) sensor is located at bottom of bellhousing, near inspection cover. Disconnect negative battery cable. Raise and support vehicle. Disconnect CKP sensor connector. See Fig 1. Remove bolt and CKP sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten CKP sensor bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
