Removal & Installation (3.0L)

CMP sensor is located on top front of left cylinder head. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor harness connector. Remove bolt from CMP sensor and remove CMP sensor. To install, reverse removal procedures. DO NOT overtighten CMP bolts or damage to CMP sensor may occur. Tighten CMP bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
