Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable. On 3.9L engines, remove Idle Air Control (IAC) valve. See IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE  under IDLE CONTROL SYSTEMS. On all models, disconnect Throttle Position (TP) sensor from wiring harness. Remove mounting bolts and TP sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . After installation, cycle throttle lever to Wide Open Throttle (WOT). It should return without interference.
