Removal & Installation (3.9L)

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove intake manifold. See INTAKE MANIFOLD  under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS. Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) sensor is located on top left side of engine. Disconnect CHT sensor connector. Remove and discard CHT sensor. See Fig 1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten sensor to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
