Removal & Installation

CAUTION: Throttle body bore and plate area have a special coating and cannot be cleaned.

Remove air cleaner outlet tube from throttle body. Disconnect Throttle Position (TP) sensor harness connector. Disconnect speed control actuator and accelerator cables.

NOTE: Discard throttle body gasket. Always use a NEW throttle body gasket when throttle body is removed.

Remove 4 bolts retaining throttle body. Remove throttle body. Remove throttle body gasket. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten throttle body bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
