Oil Pump: Installation

  1. Position the oil pump and install the bolts.
    • Tighten in the sequence shown to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

  2. NOTE: Inspect and install a new oil pump screen and pickup tube O-ring seal as necessary.
    NOTE: Lubricate the oil pump screen and pickup tube O-ring seal with clean engine oil. Position the oil pump screen and pickup tube and install the bolts.
  3. Position the oil pump screen and pickup tube and install the bolts.
    • Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
