Pinpoint Test C: NO POWER IN START/RUN

CAUTION:
Use the Flex Probe Kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals. Do not use standard multimeter probes.
- C1 CHECK THE IGNITION SWITCH
- Carry out the Ignition Switch Component Test. Refer to COMPONENT TESTING for component testing.
- Is the ignition switch OK?
- Yes : GO to C2.
- No : INSTALL a new ignition switch. TEST the system for normal operation.
- C2 CHECK CIRCUIT 30-BB20 (RD) FOR VOLTAGE
- Disconnect: Ignition Switch C250.
- Measure the voltage between ignition switch C250-7, circuit 30-BB20 (RD), harness side and ground.
- Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
- Yes : GO to C3.
- No : REPAIR the affected circuit(s). TEST the system for normal operation.
- C3 CHECK CIRCUIT 15-DD4 (GN/BK) FOR VOLTAGE
- Measure the voltage between the CJB C270a-3, circuit 15-DD4 (GN/BK), harness side and ground.
- Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
- Yes : GO to C4.
- No : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
- C4 CHECK CJB FUSE 17 (5A)
- CHECK the CJB fuse 17 (5A).
- Is the fuse OK?
- Yes : CHECK the instrument cluster for faults. REFER to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER .
- No : INSTALL a new fuse. TEST the system for normal operation.
