Removal and Installation

- Remove the steering column. For additional information, refer to STEERING COLUMN in this article .
- Disconnect the 2 column release motor electrical connectors.
- Remove the 2 rotation sensor screws and the rotation sensor.
- To install, tighten to 1 Nm (9 lb-in).
- Remove the 4 screws and the column release motors.
- To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
