Removal and Installation

CAUTION:
While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of contaminants or premature failure of the power steering components can result.
- Remove the air conditioning condenser. For additional information, refer to AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
- Remove and discard the 4 hose clamps.
- Remove the steering gear-to-cooler hose.
- Allow the fluid to drain into a suitable container.
- Remove the cooler-to-reservoir return hose.
- Remove the lower transmission cooler line.
- Allow the fluid to drain into a suitable container.
- Remove the upper transmission cooler line.
- Remove the 2 bolts and the power steering fluid cooler.
