Parking Brake Module: Removal

NOTE:
If installing a new EPB module, the module must be configured. Follow the diagnostic tool instructions for configuring the EPB module. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION

- Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
- Position the LH luggage compartment trim panel aside.
- Disconnect the 2 EPB module electrical connectors.
- Remove the 2 nuts and the EPB module.
- To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- If installing a new EPB module, configure the module. For configuration additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
