Oil Cooler: Removal

Remove the A/C condenser core. See appropriate AUTOMATIC A/C-HEATER SYSTEMS article. Remove and discard the 6 hose clamps. Position a drain pan under the vehicle to catch any fluid that may spill. Remove the 6 hoses from the combination oil cooler. Plug the hoses and the combination oil cooler. Remove the 2 bolts. Lift the combination oil cooler from the retainers and remove the combination oil cooler. See Fig 1 .
