Disassembly and Assembly

  1. Remove the front bench seat backrest. For additional information, refer to FRONT SEAT BACKREST - BENCH  in this article.
  2. Remove the safety belt buckles from the cushion trim retainer (one side shown).

  3. Remove the two LH seat riser nuts and remove the seat riser.

  4. Remove the two RH seat riser nuts and remove the seat riser.

  5. Remove two seat track-to-cushion front bolts (one shown).

  6. Remove two seat track-to-cushion rear bolts (one shown) and remove the seat track assembly.

  7. Remove the two LH seat track adjusting bar bolts.

  8. Remove the RH seat track adjusting bar bolt.

  9. Release the seat cushion J-clips.

  10. NOTE: Note the position of the recliner cable for installation.

  11. Release the recliner cable anchor clips and remove the recliner cable.
  12. Remove the seat cushion frame from the seat cushion and trim cover assembly.

  13. CAUTION: Use care when separating the seat cushion trim cover from the hook-and-loop strip, or the hook-and-loop strip can be torn from the seat cushion foam.

  14. Invert the cushion trim cover and release the hook-and-loop strips and remove the seat cushion trim cover from the foam pad.
  15. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
