Selector Lever Knob: Removal

Vehicles equipped with a 2.5L or 3.0L (4V) engine
- Remove the selector lever trim ring.
- Remove the center console trim panel.
- Disconnect the Transmission Control Switch (TCS) or select switch electrical connector.
All vehicles
- Slide the selector lever knob bezel downward to gain access to the 2 selector lever knob screws.
- Remove the 2 screws from the selector lever knob. Remove the selector lever knob and selector lever knob bezel.
NOTE:
TCS shown in the illustration, select switch similar.
NOTE:
It is necessary to route the Transmission Control Switch (TCS) harness or select switch harness out of the selector lever bezel when removing the selector lever knob.
