Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) Sensor

1 14A464 Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) sensor electrical connector (part of 12C508)
2 6G004 CHT sensor
NOTE: If the cylinder head is being replaced, the Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) sensor must be replaced.
  1. Remove the battery tray. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING & CABLES -- FUSION, MILAN & MKZ article.
  2. Disconnect the CHT sensor electrical connector.
  3. Remove the CHT sensor.
    • To install, tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
