Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Cooler - 6.0L Diesel: Removal

  1. Remove the intake manifold. For additional information, refer to ENGINE - 6.0L DIESEL .
  2. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler stud bolts.

  3. NOTE: Use care when removing the EGR cooler not to lose the grommets or spacer.

  4. Remove the bolt and the EGR cooler.
  5. Remove and discard the gasket and O-ring seal.
