Exhaust Flexible Pipe - 2.5L, 3.0L: Installation

2.5L vehicles
- Using a new gasket, install the exhaust flexible pipe and 2 new catalytic converter manifold-to-exhaust flexible pipe nuts.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
3.0L vehicles
- Using a new gasket, install the exhaust flexible pipe and 2 new LH catalytic converter-to-exhaust flexible pipe nuts.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
- Using a new gasket, install the 2 new exhaust flexible pipe-to-catalytic converter nuts.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
All vehicles
- Using a new gasket, install 2 new exhaust flexible pipe-to-catalytic converter nuts.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
- If equipped, install the underbody shield and the 6 screws.
- Start the engine and check for exhaust leaks.
