Crankshaft Rear Seal: Removal

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING article.
Remove the flexplate. For additional information, refer to FLEXPLATE in this service information.
Remove the crankshaft sensor ring.
Using the Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Remover and Slide Hammer, remove and discard the crankshaft rear seal.
- Clean all sealing surfaces with metal surface prep.
