Crankshaft Pulley: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING article.
  2. Remove the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE - 3.0L (4V) -- FUSION & MILAN article.
  3. Remove the crankshaft pulley bolt and washer.
    • Discard the crankshaft pulley bolt.
  4. Using the 3 Jaw Puller, remove the crankshaft pulley.
