DTC P0A00: Motor Electronics Coolant Temperature (MECT) Sensor Circuit

P0A00 - MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT TEMPERATURE (MECT) SENSOR CIRCUIT

Description:  The measured MECT value is not within the powertrain control module (PCM) calculated temperature range, based on other PCM inputs.
Possible Causes: 
  • Motor electronics cooling system concerns
  • Damaged MECT sensor
  • MECT harness concerns
  • DC/DC converter concerns
  • Damaged PCM
  • Damaged transaxle
Diagnostic Aids:   
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory
