DTC P0710: Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor A Circuit

P0710 - TRANSMISSION FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR A CIRCUIT

Description:  The transaxle control module (TCM) uses the transmission fluid temperature (TFT) sensor to continuously monitor its temperature. This DTC indicates the concern in TFT sensor or circuit.
Possible Causes: 
  • Damaged transaxle
  • TFT sensor circuit concern
Diagnostic Aids:  Verify the automatic transaxle fluid level is correct. Refer to the appropriate Automatic Transaxle/Transmission article.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory
