Removal & Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2010 Lincoln Town Car. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

NOTE: The antenna lead-in cable is not removable from the wiring harness. If a new cable is being installed, leave the existing cable in the wiring harness. Install a new cable on top of the body main wiring harness and secure it with wire ties. Do not cut into the wiring harness to remove the existing antenna lead-in cable. Tie back or insulate the old cable ends to keep them from causing noise.

Remove the parcel shelf. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM & ORNAMENTATION article.
Remove the RH lower C-pillar trim panel.
- Remove the pin-type retainers.
- Position the insulation aside.

Remove the RH lower A-pillar trim panel.

Remove the RH B-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM & ORNAMENTATION article.
Disconnect the antenna lead-in cable at the A-pillar.

Lower the RH rear corner of the headliner. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM & ORNAMENTATION article.
Remove the rear antenna cable at the rear window glass.
1. Remove the bolt.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. Remove the push pin retainer.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
