Removal & Installation

NOTE:
The antenna lead-in cable is not removable from the wiring harness. If a new cable is being installed, leave the existing cable in the wiring harness. Install a new cable on top of the body main wiring harness and secure it with wire ties. Do not cut into the wiring harness to remove the existing antenna lead-in cable. Tie back or insulate the old cable ends to keep them from causing noise.
- Remove the parcel shelf. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM & ORNAMENTATION article.
- Remove the RH lower C-pillar trim panel.
- Remove the pin-type retainers.
- Position the insulation aside.
- Remove the RH lower A-pillar trim panel.
- Remove the RH B-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM & ORNAMENTATION article.
- Disconnect the antenna lead-in cable at the A-pillar.
- Lower the RH rear corner of the headliner. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM & ORNAMENTATION article.
- Remove the rear antenna cable at the rear window glass.
- Remove the bolt.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the push pin retainer.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
