Removal And Installation

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
Remove the generator. For additional information, refer to CHARGING SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION article.
Install the Engine Lifting Bracket.

Install the Engine Support Bar.

Remove the oil filter and discard.
- Lubricate the new oil filter O-ring seal with clean engine oil prior to installation.
Remove the LH and RH lower engine mount nuts.
- To install, tighten to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).
Using the Engine Support Bar, raise the engine.

Remove the 3 bolts and the LH engine mount.
- To install, tighten to 70 Nm (52 lb-ft).
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
