Removal And Installation

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
  2. Remove the generator. For additional information, refer to CHARGING SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION article.
  3. Install the Engine Lifting Bracket.

  5. Install the Engine Support Bar.

  7. Remove the oil filter and discard.
    • Lubricate the new oil filter O-ring seal with clean engine oil prior to installation.
  8. Remove the LH and RH lower engine mount nuts.
    • To install, tighten to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).
  9. Using the Engine Support Bar, raise the engine.

  11. Remove the 3 bolts and the LH engine mount.
    • To install, tighten to 70 Nm (52 lb-ft).
  12. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
