Removal & Installation

  1. Remove the 2 nuts and the LH and RH wiper pivot arm.
    • To install, tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).
  2. Remove the cowl panel grille weather seal.
  3. Remove the 3 RH cowl panel grille retaining clips.
  4. Remove the RH pin-type retainer.
  5. Remove the RH cowl panel grille.
  6. Remove the 4 LH cowl panel grille retaining clips.
  7. Remove the LH pin-type retainer.
  8. Position the LH cowl panel grille aside and disconnect the washer hose from the washer nozzle.
  9. Remove the LH cowl panel grille.
  10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Adjust the windshield wiper and pivot arm. For additional information, refer to GENERAL PROCEDURES article.
