Normal Operation

The Driver Seat Module (DSM) is supplied voltage on circuit 490 (RD) and ground on circuit 57 (BK). The DSM monitors the supply voltage and will disable the system if voltage changes outside the normal operating range.
- DTC B1676 Battery Voltage Out of Range - If voltage to the DSM rises above 16.0 volts or falls below 11.5 volts, the DTC is set.
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Low/high battery voltage
- Charging system
- DSM
