Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  2. Position the steering wheel in the lowest position.
  3. Carefully pull out the instrument cluster finish panel enough to gain access to the back of the headlamp switch.

  4. Reach behind the instrument cluster finish panel and release the headlamp switch from the instrument cluster finish panel.
    • Feel for flat surfaces on the headlamp switch and push the switch outward until the headlamp switch pops out.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the headlamp switch.

  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
